Here's a possible fix for Yahoo! Instant Messenger users trying to fix voice when using Microsoft Windows 7
You need to be using Yahoo Messenger 9 or higher ... click help /check for updates from your friends list ... once updated try voice ... if it still fails install the codec below
Exit the messenger icon near the time ... to run the installer select OPEN or RUN on this download .... DSP Codecs for Windows 7 ... ( you can save download and run the installer if you wish )
You might need to reboot your computer if voice wont work after install
....
