FIX YAHOO INSTANT MESSENGER PM
Some users are not able to send a PM , send only blank PM or recieve blank PM ... this seems to have happened with the release of version 10 ... Try suggestions below ... work arounds won't work for everyone and you might be out of luck untill Yahoo fixes things
- Users can add the person to your friends list and then the PM will work .. use this to remove your name from their buddy list : NO BUDDY
- Sending from ... WEBMESSENGER ... work most times
- Some users have luck using Invite Conference ... right click user name / more action
- You can also switch to the http protocol in messenger ... LIKE THIS
Messenger preferences / connection / connect via a proxy server / select http proxyThe latest v10 has voice active on http ... YAHOO MESSENGER 10
you will need a voice patch for the http protocol for older V10 and V9
version 9 ... httpV9vc.dll ... for version 10 ... httpV10vc.zip
click help / about in messenger to see your version
exit messenger near time before running voice patch

Help your friends ... click file at the top left ... and click send
