The biggest issue for most users is ... SPYWARE ... so much so I put together a special spyware removal page using totally free software that will remove the most stubborn spyware ... FREE SPYWARE REMOVAL
Select OPEN or RUN when asked on downloads and they will download and self-install ... this helps if you're confused
The most important thing I could show you about a computer is cleaning MSCONFIG start up ... nothing will help you more ... watch the MSCONFIG video on this ... HELP PAGE ... along with the other videos and learn lots
If you hear a beep trying to open a link ... like a sign in page ... or if it just keeps looping right back to the sign in page ... you might have a pop-up stopper running ... holding down the control key before and while clicking the login / sign in button might over ride a .js / cookie / pop up blocker
Close all open windows ... open the control panel ... select the Internet options icon ... Vista users click the advanced tab and then the reset button ... all others click the programs tab and then the reset web settings button ... let it change your home page if it was hijacked ... this is a quick way to fix a lot of program issues
A check mark indicates that the icon is a " shortcut " ... shortcuts open the program ... all programs are listed under start / all programs .... shortcuts on the desktop can be safely deleted if you choose

Yahoo has a new BETA profile page they are forcing all users on ... activate / edit yours .... EDIT YAHOO PROFILES ... click sign in on the top left ... once there ... settings at the top right ... set to ANYONE in drop downs under PERMISSIONS and then click SEARCH and tic the profiles you want to allow others to see
