Here's some things to try if you are having issues with Yahoo's CAPTCHA login screen
You must have Internet Explorer as your default browser .... control panel / network and internet connections / internet options icon / programs tab at the top ... IE7 users click MAKE DEFAULT / ... IE6 users click reset websettings and make IE my default browser ... If all below fails IE 7 users click the advanced tab and the bottom RESET button
Clear your browser cache by closing all windows / control panel / network and internet connections / internet options .... when it opens click delete listed under browsing history ... delete temp internet files / delete cookies and delete history ... then try captcha
Try holding down control before and while the page loads to see if it is a pop up blocker
If you still have issues ... get these ... FLASH PLAYER ... and ... SUN JAVA ... then reboot
Clean MSCONFIG so Yahoo can respond more easily ... click start / run / type in msconfig ... at the top right click the START UP tab .... at the bottom of the page click Disable All .... then reboot and try yahoo messenger captcha
